This group meets on the last two Thursday afternoons in the month usually starting at 2pm. They learn and practice new music and increase the choral repertoire for performances at the local AGM and elsewhere. We also hold sing-ins and choral workshops with other nearby U3A choirs and recently we entertained the residents of a local home. Our most successful venture recently was to sing at the Tall Ships with a regional choir from local U3As and plans are being made to repeat this at Hartlepool in 2010.
New members are always welcome.
This group was formed after a suggestion at the new members meeting in September 2007. They meet in each others houses usually on the first and third Fridays at 10am. There is a mixture of beginners and more experienced players and new members are welcome.
