Local History

This group mets at 2pm on the Monday after the monthly meeting. During the winter months the venue is Merton Hall where slides and videos look back at the last year's trips and forward to the the ones to come. From April to September outings are arranged, travelling by coach, throughout the region. These are quickly booked up.

A 5/6 day holiday to an interesting historical area is arranged in June/July and often another one in February. Recently Scotland and Norwich have been visited.
