Old Ryton Cross
Ryton & District U3A was formed in September 1999.
Main meetings and coffee mornings are held at the Crawcrook, Ryton & District Youth Centre (next to Barmoor Garage).
Main meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month commencing at 2.00 pm and consist of a talk by an invited speaker preceded by announcements of future events and activities.
Coffee mornings take place on the first Wednesday of the month from 10.00 to 11.30 am. Their informal ’drop-in’ nature allow members to get to know each other.
Interest groups activities take place in the Youth Centre, in members' homes or suitable venues. Current interest groups include:-
